China, The Enormous Michael Rogers Stock, c. 1920-49. Comprised literally of hundreds of thousands of stamps, mint or used, housed in 9 long boxes. The beauty of this incredible holding, is that everything is sorted and identified by Scott or Ma numbers, chronologically assembled in glassines. We note extensive SYS types with surcharges, excellent Martyrs, Pacheng/Central Trust prints, wonderful 20c surcharges and 50c on 16c surcharges, Gold Yuans etc, with excellent value in multiples, varieties etc. The back of the book offers outstanding Provinces, with duplicated mint commemorative overprinted issues, strong airmails, postage dues and more. This lot cannot be duplicated and is the result of a 30 plus year run as a prominent Asia retailer; enormous quantities of material here, don't miss this one and be sure to budget ample time for inspection, Fine to Very Fine.

China, Lovely Specialized 20¢ and DPP Barred 50¢ on 16¢ Surcharge Collection, 1942-43. Wonderful, beautifully assembled and well-annotated collection identified by Scott numbers, with additional specialization included as respects overprint and perforation varieties. Begins with a few DPP's like Scott 525k and 525n(2), and continues with outstanding barred overprints like 528bx, 528c, 530g, 530r, plus Chan listed perf varieties, etc. the 20c surcharges are virtually complete less the rarities. A beautiful, mostly mint, highly detailed and keenly annotated collection of many hundreds housed in a stockbook, beginning with the First Union Surcharges and going to the first couple Silver Yuan issues. Strength lies in the surcharge's and Gold Yuan issues, with nearly every stamp identified as respects perforation and paper types, wide/narrow printings etc. Truly an exceptional, specialized labor of love collection, should be viewed to be fully appreciated!
