Chartered Bank, ca.1975 ND Issue. Hong Kong, $500, P-72c, Issued banknote, Brown on m/c, back brown, appears XF to AU with 2 small tears on the bottom left margin as the only distracting issues. Crisp paper, sharp corners and large even margins add to the attractiveness of this note.

Hong Kong, 1st July, 1913, P-155bs, Unlisted Specimen Banknote, 2 printed signatures, Black on light blue, Helmeted woman on left, harbor scene on lower right, back orange-red, Pin-punch CANCELLED, S/N's 1476001 - 1776000, PMG graded Choice Uncirculated 64 NET with note of archival notations with order number and date "16-4-(19)18", the minor rust is a miniscule spot on the back approximately 1/2mm in size that is probably an ink spot, not rust. Rare note that deserves a higher designation of grade. BWC. Tied with finest known out of 8 graded.

Hong Kong, Lot of 10 notes, All are $5, P-180a, issued with Hong Kong title separated, sequential serial numbers, S/N's B/H 897,091 to 897,100, All are crisp with large even margins, strong embossing and bright colors but unfortunately were light folded vertically in the middle without breaking the paper evidently for storage, still an attractive AU to Choice AU banknote group. BWC.

Hong Kong International Reply Coupon, 1947 Issue. Hong Kong, May 1, 1947, Issued and Uncancelled coupon for 45 cents (40 cents is crossed out and it was  reissued for 45 cents in middle), Blue on light yellow face with ornate text and design, back with blue text on white. AU-Uncirculated condition. Scarce early postal and currency related item. An international reply coupon was utilized for sending small amounts of money overseas versus sending envelopes filled with change. They could be reimbursed at the post office and possibly even circulated as money until they were redeemed.
