Viet Nam (North), Virtually complete mint collection, 1945-2018, in five-volume deluxe Lighthouse albums with slipcases; an absolutely incredible array of material including singles, pairs, souvenir sheets, imperforate issues (in singles, pairs and sometimes blocks), noted Specimens, etc.; the first volume is a treasure trove of the earliest issues, including those of 1946 to 1954, North & Central Vietnam (which includes many issues listed in Michel) with rarities (to $1000 each!) and including varieties with strong Postage Dues and Officials; the next four volumes contain the modern period and are stuffed with additional imperforate sets and souvenir sheets and Specimens; starting with 2010 all issues are in blocks of 4, including imperforates and Specimens; the total catalogue is immense, and so many specialized items only add to the value, o.g., mostly never hinged, flawless white gum and issues that were issued without gum pristine and no hinge marks, generally Very Fine, a brilliant lot for the most advanced collector or dealer, and in absolutely pristine flawless quality, formed by one of the most discriminating collectors we have had the pleasure to know, impossible to duplicate and priceless.

Viet Nam (South), Emperor's Dream, collection of deluxe proofs, 1951-75, over 95% complete in three Lighthouse deluxe volumes with slipcases, includes #1-13 Bao-Dai first issues complete (a great rarity!) along with many other rare sets such as #30-35 compound proofs; missing just #14, 16-18, 30-38, 63-67, 68-72, 88-91, 150-153, 158-161, 215-218, 227-230 for completion; only a few show the slightest signs of tropicalization, and the key sets are all virginal lily-white and fresh, Choice Extremely Fine, worth a king's ransom, irreplaceable, worthy of the finest collection, we cannot imagine a finer collection in existence.
