British Offices in China, 1853, stampless cover from Shanghai (endorsed on back) via Hong Kong to Bangor Maine, US, with Hong Kong type 9 broken circle cds (Nov 10), GB cds (1854 Jan 2) and Boston British Packet (Jan 25) all on back. Rated 1/8 rerated 40 and also with 45 marking, also endorsed as Overland Mail. This was privately carried from Shanghai to Hong Kong and then put in the mail there, Fine.
