Hong Kong, 1907 (Aug 6), card from Tientsin to Besançon, France, Hong Kong paid / reply card with reply portion attached, 1¢ King Edward VII card uprated by 1¢ and 2¢ King Edward VII issues, with front showing "F.P.O. No. 1 / 6 AU / 07" c.d.s., "Base Office / B / 6 AU 07" c.d.s., Victoria, Hong Kong 15 AU transit, French "Ligne N. / 20 AOUT 07 / PAQ FR. No 5" packet marking and "Besançon 18.9 / Doubs" receiver. Card also shows "T" handstamp due marking. A remarkable card with a splendid range of markings, rare, Very Fine.

Hong Kong, 1915 (June 4), WWI POW cover from Hong Kong to Canton, cancelled bold strike in violet "Hong Kong 4pm / 4 JUN / 15" c.d.s., along with perfect strike of 52x33mm oval reading "Provost Marshal / Hong Kong" with manuscript signature, Webb type A. Front also shows matching 58x42mm triangle "Letters Prisoners of War / Free under / Convention" Webb type C, along with Canton June receiver. Fresh, scarce and seldom seen combination, Very Fine.

Hong Kong, 1946 (Aug 27), "RAFPOST" Services Mail cover to England, stampless "on active service" cover, bearing bold strike "RAFPOST / 27 AUG 46 / Hong Kong" Webb type 6 c.d.s., from serviceman Brazier at Kai-Tak. Curiously uncommon, a splendid example of the services mail after liberation! Very Fine.

Includes lots of straight forward better items like Scott M1-10, M11 (mint and used), M12-20, M23-33, lots of overprint types like thick or thin, extra dots, broken letters, bent letters, etc 8a (M8) marginal block of 4 double overprint, one albino (ex Starr), mint stationery, mint and used black "BRA" overprints, etc. Lovely study, fresh, examine, Fine to Very Fine.
