1906-07, 1c-10c overprinted complete (Scott 21-26), study of overprints and shades; includes Scott 21 in both spacings; one Scott 21 with heavy offset impression of "CANAL ZONE" overprint on reverse; Scott 2 block with "ONE" for "ZONE" variety; three Scott 22 blocks with spaced "C A" of "CANAL"; Scott 22 with imperforate bottom margin (small thin at top); Scott 23 1) "ZONE" mostly missing, 2) "C NAL", 3) heavy offset impression of "CANAL ZONE" overprint on gum side, 4) two blocks of four in different shades, 5a0 block of four and single showing widely spaced "C A" of "CANAL"; Scott 24 1) seven blocks of four in slightly different shades, 2) wide spaced "C A" of "CANAL" on single and single in block of four, 3) "CNAL ZONE" doubled (Scott 24c) on single stamp with pulled perforation at top right; Scott 25 wide spaced "C A" of "CANAL" on single and single in block of four, typical Canal Zone gum - o.g., slightly disturbed o.g. and tropicalized o.g., Fine.

1907, 1c green & black, imperf between (Scott 22b), vertical pair, Canal Zone overprint with 6 3/4 mm spacing, tropicalized o.g.; top stamp with pulled perf at right causing a small piece out and a small thin, 20 pairs of this error are recorded with only some showing the 6 3/4 mm spacing of Canal Zone.

1907, 1c green & black, inverted center, overprint reading up (Scott 22g), cancel is a duplex killer with "RMS" at center; scrape at bottom left, otherwise Very Fine, while one pane of 100 was printed with this error, only 22 unused and 13 used examples have been recorded.

1906, 2c red & black, double overprint, one diagonal (Scott 23d), split second overprint, tropicalized o.g.; couple short perfs at top, otherwise Very Fine, Plass doing a photo reconstruction found that only 47 example on one pane have the second overprint printed diagonally and only 65 stamps in all received the second overprint.

Considered to be one of the great rarities of Canal Zone. Plass records only 9 examples, all used and "apparently defective". This stamp would be one of the nicer examples

1906, 5c ultramarine & black, double overprint (Scott 24c), 6 ¾ mm spacing between ZONE and CANAL, slightly disturbed o.g., Very Fine, only 2 sheets found with the double overprint, one each with 7 ¼ and 6 ¾ mm spacing, so only 100 could exist with the 6 ¾ mm spacing.

1906, 10c violet & black, imperforate bottom margin (Scott 26 var.), bottom imprint horizontal pair, o.g.; small hole in imprint, otherwise Very Fine, only one pane was found with the bottom margin imperforate, therefore only 10 examples can exist and the is the only imprint pair possible.
