1898, 2¢ red, type IV (Scott 279Bj), 4 partial booklet panes, each showing the top 2/3rds, panes were position D's with plate numbers 1008, 1009, 1010, and 1011; each of these plate numbers is thought to be the only known example and are thought to be unique; plate number 1008 with horizontal watermark, plate numbers 1009 and 1010 with inverted horizontal watermarks and plate number 1011 with inverted and reverse horizontal watermark; as the owner acquired these four numbers as a set we are offering them the same way, o.g., each block with two stamps with hinged remnant and two stamps never hinged, mostly Fine or better.
