Revenue, 1958, 3¢ red, full offset on reverse (Scott R10 var.), the so-called "Matsukoa offset error", without gum as issued, a very strong impression, Very Fine. One of only 32 examples in existence.

In November of 1958, the Matsukoa Power Co. purchased several sheets of revenue stamps for business purposes. Among these was a single sheet of the 3¢ stamp with a strong offset of the full design on the reverse. One of their clerks, who was also a stamp collector, spotted and saved what was left of the sheet—32 stamps—the other 18 having already been used.
