Great Britain, 1907 (Oct 14), "Daily Graphic" Balloon Mail, special "Message from Mid-Air" illustrated postcard mailed unfranked from Tösse, Sweden, where the balloon landed, to Cheshire, England; marked "T" for postage due and handstamped "2d/ F.B.A.", Very Fine.

United States, Fanning Balloon Ascent, Riverhead, NY, picture post card showing J.J. Fanning's ascent at the bottom of a balloon (on what looks like a glider's hanger - not in a basket!); published by J.H. Brown of Riverhead and titled "No. 519. Balloon ascension at Suffolk County Fair/Riverhead, L.I."; unused and without inscription, but showing oval photogravure image with negative signature, "J.J. Fanning Aeronaut" on reverse; crease at bottom right of card, which does not affect image on either side, Fine to Very Fine, a great opener for further research.
