1901, Pan-American, 1¢ green & black, center inverted (Scott 294a), disturbed o.g., lovely color, nice appearance for this very scarce and desirable error; tiny thins, otherwise Fine, with 2019 P.F. certificate.

The 1901 Pan-American inverts were the first bicolored postage stamps produced by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing and the first inverted postage errors issued by the Post Office since the 1869 Issue. The 1c Pan-American Inverts were discovered in several post offices (at least four according to Max Johl) around the country. Most examples are off-center and have disturbed gum and/or small thins.
