1901, 4¢ Pan-American, center inverted (296a), o.g., paper hinge remnants, magnificent example of this extremely rare inverted center, with the deepest and richest color ever seen on this issue, a true condition rarity as the sheet was discovered stuck down to cardboard, resulting in most known examples with thins, creases or no gum; the example offered here is among the nicest obtainable example in completely sound condition, Fine to Very Fine, less than 100 are known to exist, 2007 P.S.E. certificate.
