Japanese Occupation of China, Massive and valuable postal history selection, wonderful, generally very clean and diverse holding of over 330 covers, including amazing franking combinations, commemorative cancels; Registered, AR and Express usages; Censor covers, slogan cancels, etc., with extensive Hwa Pei North China usages, Shansi, Shanghai and Nanking, Shantung, Meng Chiang, Kwantung, Honan, Hopei, etc., Fine to Very Fine or better, a superb lot; inspection invited, a fabulous holding, rarely seen today in the quantity and diversity offered here.

Japanese Occupation of China, Massive horde, a huge, almost unimaginable holding consisting of perhaps 75,000 stamps, comprising approximately 63 former auction lots from the late 1960s and '70s from the Avon Stamp Auctions Company in San Francisco, with everything still in the original packaging as received (!); the lots cover the spectrum from sheets and part-sheets to singles and approval pages; strong in North China issues, with commemoratives, Hua Pei types, Meng Chiang issues, etc., Fine to Very Fine, a careful inspection invited, a huge holding which has been locked away in a time capsule for over 40 years.
