Syria, Large Holding of Imperf Proofs for the U.N. 10th Anniversary, 1955 (Scott 392-393, C200-C201 vars.), 81 item from singles to blocks of 10 and miniature sheets of 4, in a small stockbook - 205 stamps and 12 miniature sheets in all; various colors and various papers, some printed on the gummed side of the paper; all Very Fine and never hinged. A most unusual lot of this scarce material featuring a popular collecting topical., Very Fine.

Syria, The Falafel Collection, 1941-76, very high quality collection on Scott Specialty quadrille pages; earlier pages are complete through 1940 on Specialty printed pages with only a couple stamps included—but we note #C1 mint; after 1940 appears complete postally used (except #282-285 mint), including #288-292, 293-295, 298-299, 306-310, C107-C108, C109-C113, C114-C116; of special note are the scarcer WWII issues, and most especially the very scarce Free French Resistance issues used complete #M1-M10, MB1-MB2, MC1-MC10, MCB1-MCB2 and RA1-RA11, Fine to Very Fine.
