Greece: Crete - Italian Administration, 1904 (Aug. 26), registered letter headed Royal Italian Consulate in Crete from La Canea to Candia, franked with pair 50c. mauve of V. Emanuele III, one stamp (probably a 25c) missing. Herakleion transit and Xania arrival backstamps and large part of the wax seal of the Consulate. A rare internal usage, Extremely Fine appearance, signed Drossos.
