British Sudan, 1898 (September 21 docketed), "F.B." (Foreign Branch) cover from Khartoum to England, franked by 2m and 3m pairs of 1897 overprints, uncancelled at origin, as the issue was superceded by the large Camel issue and deemed invalid (but they were, in fact, valid!); handstamp "T" postage due, which was later crayoned out and cancelled by four strikes of London "F.B." handstamp; reverse shows Wadi Halfa and Alexdandrie transits and British Oct. 13 arrival, F.-V.F., a superb cover, possibly unique, .

British Sudan, 1924 (February), 5mils postal stationery entire, used to Germany, uprated by 5m "large camel" booklet stamp, each cancelled by 32mm violet unrecorded cancellation of "Abuzabad Markaz" without date; reverse shows transit c.d.s. of "El-Obeid" (Stagg type 110-1) dated 20 Feb. and "Khartowm" (Stagg type 41) c.d.s. dated 22 Feb., Very Fine and choice--a showpiece, a superb and most likely unique item of postal history, signed C.F. Hass.
