1851, 1¢ blue, type II (Scott 7), tied by "BOSTON/6/SEP/PAID" town postmark on neat small cover to Chesterfield, Mass, with manuscript "Circular" endorsement (Plate# 88L2), cover slightly reduced at left and with minor age stains, stamp has deep rich color and sharp impression, large margins to just cutting at top, a Very Fine cover.
