France, 1863 (June 11 or 14), cover from Royal Palace at Fontainebleu to Paris, a personal communication to a Monsieur Parent in Place Vendôme, with red June 1863 "Bau du Palais de Fontainebleu" c.d.s. at upper right and, at left, a two-line "Maison de l'Empereur./(Service de la Maison Militaire)" handstamp in blue; reverse with double-ring "Service d'Exploitation/S.O." same-day dater; seal torn from back, with resultant paper loss; small handstamp (owner or expertiser) at lower left, Very Fine, and a lovely cover, a rare marking, with 2015 Roumet Sceiff Pagnoux certificate.
