1861, 1¢ blue, type I (Scott 18), o.g., never hinged, remarkable example of this scarce type I stamp, being virtually perfectly centered with fantastic fresh color; despite the crease this stamp is one of the best centered examples you will ever see and the gum is otherwise immaculate and pristine in unblemished condition; this is the first never hinged example we've offered in quite some time; diagonal crease along bottom left corner, Extremely Fine appearance.
