Muscat, 1956, 1½a on 1½d Queen Elizabeth II, St. Edward's Crown watermark, now listed under "British Postal Agencies in Eastern Arabia" in Gibbons, an incredibly scarce stamp, nicely centered and canceled, nearly Very Fine, signed.

Only a few sheets exist, having been sent by accident with a printing of the intended Tudor Crown watermarked stamp. Most used in Dubai, but also known from Muscat, Bahrain and Sharjah (FPO). Only one mint example is recorded
