1909, 2¢ Hudson-Fulton (Scott 372), Pre-First Day, Boston MA, Tuck Hudson-Fulton Picture Post Card, 2¢ tied by a pre-First Day, September 24, 1909, 4:30PM, Boston c.d.s. on the picture side of a fabulous embossed multicolor "Tuck" Hudson-Fulton card depicting "Fulton in His Studio" with an inset of the "Clermont"; unaddressed, Extremely Fine. At least 25 of these pre-First Day "Tuck" postcards are recorded, with 1969 P.F. certificate.

Also accompanied by a photocopy of a letter from Hugh M. Clark, on Scott Publications letterhead, stating that he believes the correct date of issue, "as far as I can find out is Sept 24, 1909". He goes on to say that, even though Sept 25 the government's "first day of sale…they were regularly sold in other places on the previous day."
