1870, 10¢ brown, H. grill, N.B.N.C. printing (Scott 139), two Fine singles with faint split grills tied on a small Jan-Feb 1871 cover from New York to Finisterre, France with a red London Paid transit c.d.s., a handstamped "12", a French entry c.d.s., and, on the flap, a partial red "New York Paid All/ British Transit" c.d.s.; stamps removed for identification and replaced, Fine to Very Fine, with a 1982 P.F. certificate.

1870, 10¢ brown, H. grill, N.B.N.C. printing (Scott 139), tied by a light circle-of-wedges and a "New York/[fluerons]/Sep 30" c.d.s. on an 1870 folded letter to Mexico City, Mexico with a manuscript "p 'City of Merida'" and a handstamped "4" (reales due), Fine to Very Fine, with a 1988 P.F. certificate.

1883, 2¢ red brown (Scott 210), neat manuscript "M" cancel on a "triple" First Day Cover to Philadelphia with a matching "Slatedale Pa, 10/1/83" manuscript postmark and backstamps of Slatington, Pa (matching the corner card) and Philadelphia, both also on Oct 1; repair at the upper right under the stamp and small tear at the lower right, Fine to Very Fine. Slatedale and Slatington are about three miles apart in Lehigh County.
