1867, 3¢ rose, A. grill (Scott 79), an outstanding example with fully intact perforations, tied by New York segmented open grid and postmark on a pre-printed return envelope to Penn National Bank in Philadelphia; light edge discoloration on lower left of envelope, not mentioned on the accompanying certificate, Fine to Very Fine, with a 2015 P.F. certificate.

1867, 2¢ black, Z. grill (Scott 85B), tied by a bright red New York rosette-in-circle duplex, Feb 18 (1868), on a locally addressed cover with the sender's blue oval datestamp at the lower left; stamp with a few perforation faults, cover with a small tear at the top, otherwise Fine to Very Fine. An early usage of the 2¢ Z. grill; Scott's EDU on cover is January 20.

(?) quartered cork duplex, on an 1868 cover to Paris, France with a red "New Paid York/6" exchange office c.d.s., a red boxed "PD" and a blue Aug 2 French entry c.d.s.; no backstamps; stamp perforations extend above the edge of the cover, but apparently with no adverse effect, Very Fine.
