1861, 5¢ buff & 30¢ orange (Scott 67, 71), tied by blue Louisville, Ky. c.d.s.'s, May 1, 1862, on a cover to Rheinfelden, Switzerland with red "New Paid York/18" exchange office c.d.s., boxed "P.D." and French entry c.d.s.; three different Swiss backstamps; cover somewhat toned affecting the stamp's perforations, vertical file folds not affecting stamps, small piece of flap missing, Fine. A rare franking.
